Isabelle's Gift will be opening for Wolfmother in Raleigh, NC on April 24th. Tickets are still available as of this writing.
Remember when "scene" meant something? When "pit violence" meant trips to the hospital, not some pussy fight between two guys over an eyeliner pencil? Ask any survivor of the legendary Isabelle's Gift / Sqwearl tag team shows, and they'll fill you in. And make plans - Myrtle Beach, March 2nd at the Boathouse. This shit's going to be insane.
Yeah, it took awhile, but we've been told that the installment of Fangoria Radio with Isabelle's Gift will be airing on Friday, December 15th. Make sure you tune in - horror movies + Dee Snider + Rock n' Roll just screams "quality family entertainment for the holidays."
The band had an amazing trip to NYC to hang out with Dee Snider and the Fangoria Radio crew, and you can hear it all for yourself on December 1st on Sirius. Don't have it? Go to the website and sign up for a free 3 day trial.
If you haven't checked the message boards (or looked to the right of this page), then you may not be aware that the band will be playing live on Dee Snider's radio show on November 17th. Then they'll be playing a rare north of the Mason Dixon line show in West Chester, PA the following evening...
Halloween comes every year, but Friday the 13th in October...well, that's more of a rarity. So this year's Halloween bash will be on 10.13.06, as opposed to 10.31.06. Like the flyer (below) says.
For those of you fortunate enough to be in the Charleston broadcast area, tune into 98X's Local X show this Sunday night (July 30th) @ 9PM, hosted by the delightful Amy Hutto. Chris and James will be joining her in the studio, and they'll be back with the rest of the band to play Cumberland's on Thursday night.
The official "American Idle" release party is set for next weekend (07.22.06) at Headliners here in Columbia. Better still, there's a strongman championship all day long beforehand (you know, like you've seen on ESPN, where those massive dudes pull cars and shit). So come watch the feats of strength all day, and then see how many bottles of Jäger you can lift through the evening.
"American Idle" is in stores today - pick up a handful and spread the disease.
Longtime Isabelle's Gift crew member (and babysitter, and hostage negotiator and...) Hoss lost his father this week, and our deepest sympathies go out to him and his family. A benefit concert will be held on June 11th at Hemingway's. Full details and a donation link are available here.
Starting tomorrow (Tuesday the 16th), "Long Way Back" will be available from iTunes and other fine digital services. Between now and June 6th, if you buy the single, send a copy of your receipt to itunes@isabellesgift.com and we'll hook you up with an mp3 of "That's Mister Faggot To You."
"American Idle" will finally hit stores on June 6th (6.6.6). Release parties are being planned, and details are forthcoming.
The first single from the new album (American Idle, for those of you that haven't been paying attention for the last 2 years), "Long Way Back" is going to radio next month. It's also going to be available on iTunes starting May 16th. More details, a special offer, and the official release date for AI coming soon...
Congratulations to Chris and Tansey on the arrival of Kyuss Christopher Sutton (7 lbs. 5 oz.). Photo of the new addition below...

And even though no one's had the balls to give Chris his own radio show (yet), our label head / benefactor / sugardaddy Jimmy Pop is going to be on Howard 101 (Sirius) tonight. It's sure to delight and offend, so tune the fuck in. More info here.
Rough track from "American Idle" posted at PureVolume...
Happy Holidays from the Isabelle's Gift family - 2006 will be a big year; we appreciate your support, and look forward to sharing "American Idle" with everyone at long (long...) last.
The last IG show of the year will be next Friday, December 16th, in Fayetteville, NC @ the STM Music Productions Holiday Brawl. Joining IG will be Automag, Blatant Disarray and Brad Benson. Show time is 9PM, and it's just $6. Remember, nothing says "holiday party" like Jäger shots.
Troy and his wife proudly welcomed Julian Benjamin Tyler into the world on November 23rd, 2005. Congratulations to the happy couple and their little addition.
The Isabelle's Gift Hometown Halloween tradition returns this year, with a show at the Roadkill Cafe on Friday, October 28th. Details to follow...
The collective Isabelle's Gift family extends our deepest sympathies to all the victims of the storms - both the hurricane, and the proverbial shitstorm that the government has unleashed through their utter and complete ineptitude. Glad you needed those extra vacation days, jackass. Check this out for some insight from the "front lines" in New Orleans.
The band is getting back in the van, only this time it's not "THE" van, as that particular beast is officially retired. But the band IS back on the road, with the first show tomorrow night in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Check the tour section for all the details, and make sure to catch this bill (Throttlerod! Quintaine Americana on select dates! Cracktorch in MA & NY!)
The band is back out of the van, after their brief trip up north, where they worked on their forthcoming travelogue, "Springfield, Ohio and other cities where suicide doesn't seem so impractical." Thanks to everyone that came out, and to Jägermeister for the support (both physical and medicinal). Hometown show with Beam and Live Like Murder at Headliner's next Saturday; another road expedition with Throttlerod and Quintaine Americana starts later this summer.
The band is getting back in the van, and headed for a venue near you. Check the tour section for the particulars, and come do Jäger shots with 'em.
Come see one hell of a benefit show for a good cause on Saturday, May 21st at the Art Bar in Columbia, SC. Joining Isabelle's Gift will be Death Valley Driver, Matt Goudelock, Automag, Wormbelly and more. Check vancejeffcoat.org for more details, and seriously - make sure you attend.
Join Isabelle's Gift and thousands of other inebriated types this weekend around 5 Points (Columbia) in the revelry known as St. Patrick's Day. IG will be on the Jungle Jim's stage @ 4:20. Then, if you're still sober enough to drive to Rock Hill, or can find someone who is, see the band's second show up there later that night.
The tour is over, but the hangovers remain (some of them being automotive by nature). Look for new photos, the official winner of the first "Jäger Road Challenge" and quite possibly, a round of tour diary entries soon.
Isabelle's Gift will be playing a single date off the tour with Brand New Sin, up in the ghetto of brotherly love. Joining them on Thursday, March 3rd @ the Pontiac Grille on South Street will be American Nightmare & Bloodphart. Only $7, and you can go get Lorenzo's afterwards!
The band will be doing an interview and possible acoustic performance on the air on WARQ (93.5). Tune in around 2 PM, and be sure to tell Dave "thanks" that night at the show! (note: time updated to 2 PM!)
We're hitting the road for a little outing with Brand New Sin. Check the tour section for complete details, and come drink some Jäger with us at the shows.
